My work explores the intersection of two seemingly disparate themes: the locations of sexual assaults and the notion of Neostalgia. In my photographs, the locations may seem ordinary at first glance; a house, a street corner, a wooded area … Yet each carries a weighty history of violence and trauma by employing an aesthetic that evokes a sense of Neostalgia.
