I have approached this theme by revisiting textile processes and techniques that I was familiar with in childhood, reworking these into a contemporary style incorporating knitting and crochet. The recurring motif of the eye has been utilised. This takes on a particular significance, for example. In comic book visuals, as eyes staring through a spooky dark space, and I wanted its potential in this work, cover surfaces, canvases, garments and fabrics.
