In this project I have created a video of hands coming through a white wall. The hands could be seen as eerie or unsettling as it goes against our expectations of physical boundaries and the law of physics. This type of uncanny experience, where something seems almost ‘human’ but not quite, is often referred to as the ‘uncanny valley’.
